For 50 years, Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, has been producing drinking water from its wastewater. Commissioned in 1968, this plant was the first in the world to develop such a process. Since 2001, it has been managed by WINGOC - Windhoek Goreangab Operating Company, a consortium that brings together Veolia and WABAG.
