Sustainable Development Goal 6 is clear: **water for all by 2030**. By definition this means **leaving no one behind**. However, today, billions of people are still living without safe water - their households, schools, workplaces, farms and factories struggling to survive and thrive.

Marginalized groups - women, children, refugees, indigenous people, disabled people and many others - are often neglected and are sometimes suffering discrimination as they try to access and manage safe water.

**This World Water Day, 22nd March, is dedicated to water crisis solving by tackling the reasons why so many people are being left behind.**

Active in Africa for more than 20 years, **we are proud to play a role in achieving Sustainable Development Goals and contributing to access to essential services** and resource conservation in the countries in which we operate.

**Every year, in all Veolia Africa’s countries, great initiatives mark this day, its goal, and rally our employees around the important question of water in the world.**
